I recently purchase a set of fog lights for my car and had them installed by a professional audio/body shop.
They wired the fog lights to the power mirrors’ so they only come on when the car is on. Now the problem is once they installed the fog lights my parking lights didn’t come on. So they installed a temporary switch. Now instead of turning them on from my regular light switch they put a toggle switch. What might have they done wrong? Your help will be greatly appreciated!

did then install a relay under the hood? fog lights draw a lot of power and a relay should be put in. the light switch would only have to energize the relay to have the lights work
