Holden vectra

Hi all, I was wondering if someone could help me out. I have a 2001 holden vectra equipe and it started making a kind of thud noise occasionaly when I apply the brakes and turn the steering wheel while driving. I can feel a bit of a clunk in the steering wheel and also in the brake pedal. Is my car falling apart or is it something minor that can be fixed???

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have the front steering, suspension, and brakes checked immediately. You are not falling apart but do have a piece (ball joint, tie rod end, cv joint etc.)that is in serious need of repair.
