Hi there,
The first thing to do I never remove the battery lead when the engine is running as you can destroy the ECU with a voltage spike when you touch the terminal back on, so with that in mind get the charge rate checked and get the battery fully charged and load tested first, check that all the wiring into the alternator is ok and you have no loose wires in the terminal plugs, start here.
