1982 Holden Gemini fan is not going

1982 Holden Gemini 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Manual

my radiator fan won't start spinning and my car keeps over heating but it has worked once for about five mins. I think its that the moter in the fan is dead but i dont Know
i hope you can help

jump power and and earth to the 2 fan wires and see if they kick in, start here.
