Was driving along today on motorway and had air on then pushed the recirculte button and the centre vents blew out white smoke so I turned off straight away. Restarted car air con working so what would the diagnosis be please. The car company are going to check it out but I feel the are blowing me off with some m ist story because of the humidity????

HI there,

This is what it well can be, it is not unknown that you can get this happening, best explanation i have been given is that moisture on the fins of the evaporator, condenses with the sudden cold of the A/C when turned on and is pushed out the vents as a cloud of mist, when it enters the cabin it warms up and is evaporated instantly, I hope that is a help.
