2000 Holden Commodore Unsure

I was driving yesterday when I started hearing a banging noise. This noise then increased more as I would excalerate and it took alot of power to excalerate. I am not sure if I can drive it, any ideas???

Hi there,

Start with having the engine flex plate checked for cracks, is there any noise there in park? or just when driving?
