Engine Performance problem
1995 Holden Commodore 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 227k miles

when driving at a constent speed the car is fine, but when i put my foot down the car misses an back fires, this happens in the bottom end of second gear and once the car is at about 80kph once i am up to 120kph it seams fine, 1 of the relays also starts ticking around the same time. i have just had the car serviced an no this is a common fault in the commodore's but is there any cheap solution

thanks Andy

the donation is all i have at the moment :(

Hi there,

Could be the coil, leads or a plug breaking down under load, the tick can be the coil earthing out, check these out first.
