Engine Mechanical problem
1992 Holden Commodore 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

Ive just completed putting a 1992 series 2 holden (originally buick) 3800 engine in my 1990 series 1 vp executive. All the wires are hooked up, aswell as the drive train and exhaust, ive double checked everything, however my engine wont start. It has spark and it turns over, but it wont catch when it tries to fire. I beleive its a fuel supply problem but there is fuel at the top of the fuel line, can someone tell me whats going on??

Hi there,

If you have fuel pressure, can you hear the pump running for a few sec with the ignition on? if so you will have to check for injection pulse at the injectors with a led test light or a noid light.
