cruise control turns on sometimes when it wants too but after a few kilometres it turns itself off and won't switch back on have checked fuses and wiring looks all okay

Hi there,

Get a scan done as this may well be a faulty speed sensor, a scan will pick this up.

just put a new alternator in my batterery keeps boiling over could that be the problem to my cruise control as if i move the wires it works could it be a short somewhere caused by the acid eating in somewhere in my wiring but why is my battery boiling over the alternator is brand new

Either the new alternator is faulty, or you may have a dead short in one cell in the battery, look here next.
