The hold light comes on and off even when not using it, the car drives normal, but it is annoying. Could it be faulty switch? Are they easy to change? thank you

The "HOLD" light on a 2007 Chevrolet Optra typically indicates that the transmission is in a mode that prevents it from shifting to higher gears. Yep, the first thing I would do is change the switch, yes, they are easy to change. The switch will pop out in most cases, or you will need to remove a trim panel. If you upload images of the switch I can help you, also, we should run the codes to see if any are stored.
