Check engine light is triggered, and the code is P0030. The H02 sensor is new from Mini (P/N is 7595353-03. it is the correct part for my vehicle listed above base 1.6, manual transmission).

Can anyone provide the wiring diagram showing the function and the resistance values for the Ho2, or as a minimum the heater circuit? I have confirmed that +12 volts is present from the ECU, as is a -ground.

Many thanks.

Hi,

The code indicates the O2 sensor is heating before converter activation. I tried to find the voltage specifications to it, but all I was able to find was the last two pics below for diagnostics. The first four pics are the wiring related to the sensor.

Since it is heating too early, my first thoughts are there is a short to power. Based on experience only, you should be getting Bv to the heater circuit.

Do me a favor. Disconnect the sensor. There should be a yellow wire to it. That is for the heater. See pic 1 below. Check that wire for voltage when the key is in the on position (engine off).

Let me know what you find.

Take care,

Joe
