Hitting only on four cylinders

1990 CHEVROLET CHEVETTE
154,000 MILES • 3.7L • V8 • 2WD • AUTOMATIC

Started tuning on maybe four or five cylinders pulled and replaced spark plugs, they were coated with unburned gas and carbon. still starts, but running really rough could it be distributor cap something like that?

If they are wet with gas then do a compression check first.

Have you tried swapping the fuel injectors to a different cylinder to see if it does the same thing on a different cylinder?
