High oil pressure gauge

Oil pressure gauge maxed out when driving.

Get another reading with a hand held oil pressure gauge and if this reading is normal, then either the sender or the original gauge is bad. Try a new sending unit first.
I am having a difficult time finding a 3.6l engine in a 1999 GMC Suburban, are you sure? Can you give me the VIN?
