My cars oil gauge goes up to 80 the highest as soon as I start my car and stays high until I turn it off . Now my check engine light is on.

Can you please pull the Direct Trouble Code[DTC] for me? Here is a link below explaining how to do this. You will need an OBD2 code reader to do this.

Please go through this guide and get back to us with the DTC. Also can you please check the engine oil level on the engine's dipstick and get back to us with that reading as well.
