high idle when I first start car and car jerks when applying brake slowly

I start my car in the morning to warm it up and I notice it idles fast, then it seems like it idles faster the longer it sit, then when I go to brake slowly it jerks. is there an easy fix?

The high idle sounds like and can be a vacuum leak but to be sure lets try this guide.
