High idle when car is warm

1992 MERCEDES BENZ 500SL
124,000 MILES • V8 • RWD • AUTOMATIC

The car starts with no problem and idles normal when car is cold. But once it's warmed up the car idles at 12000 rpm. What can I do to fix this?

sounds like the idle control vale is dirty, you could remove and clean it out with carburetor spray see what that does, also check all of your vacuum lines make sure they are not cracked especially to the transmission.
