High idle at start

When the engine is started when hot or cold it revs way up and then goes down to a slow idle. Idle almost to slow so when you turn the steering wheel it almost shuts it off.

This sounds like you have a vacuum leak be sure to check the intake manifold as well. Here is a guide that will help us find the problem:
