Hi guys me again. You did such a good job last time with my crank no start that drove me crazy being a faulty relay. Well, car runs great ever since. But now it has a high idle (1,500 rpm's) until it is in gear (900) Any ideas?

The most common causes of a high idle include an engine vacuum leak, fuel pressure issues, or a faulty or dirty idle air control valve. With that, here are links that explain how to check for a leak and fuel pressure. Also, the last two links explain how to service or replace an idle air control valve.

As far as the IAC valve, it is located on the throttle body. Do these checks and let me know what you find.

Take care,
