high idle?

I replaced and cleaned my IAC valve, also cleaned my throttle body because my car would stall and cut off at times. Who knows when the last time the owner cleaned it, but after replacing I’m still getting a very high idle.

Hi,

Did you clean inside where the IAC was mounted? Also, this vehicle has an accelerator cable. Disconnect it at the throttle body and see if it returns to a normal idle. It could be damaged and not fully released. See pic below.
