When my headlights are on and I turn on my high beams or try to flash them they stay on. I have to turn lights off to go back to reg headlights. Also when I turn my fog lights the brights come on and I have to do the same thing to turn brights off.

Check the dim relay for being bad and then have it scanned for codes. It may be the body module is messing up as headlight switch goes to that first.

I was thinking the relay, but I cannot figure out how to get it out. Under the lid of the fuse box shows me which is the dim relay but I am at a loss as to how to pull it out.

Grab it and tug or leave lights off and use a screwdriver to lift it, unless it is non removable. Pliers may work.

Hi Aclogher,

Here is a link to an article that features written step by step instructions and pictures explaining how to do the scan yourself, also I have included a link to our YouTube channel with a how to video on code scanning. Most scanners are inexpensive to purchase, you can purchase one online from sites like Amazon.com. Once you have the codes please get back to us so that we can further assist you. We are always happy to help.
