I had just filled up with a regular fuel. When about forty miles after, my vehicle would not accelerate as usual. And it had a noticeable jerk when going uphill. I feared the worst and pulled over and sat for thirty minutes. When I pulled off again I did not feel or hear anything and we made it home safe. Was this because of the gas I used? abd if so can it be fixed with a gas treatment or fuel injector cleaner?

Hello, I am Danny.

Noticing your vehicle has 200,000 miles I would say a fuel additive/injector cleaner would possibly help. Have you been performing routine/scheduled maintenance? Sometimes gas can have contaminants that affect a vehicle's performance. I have attached a link on Low Power for you to see. You can buy the cleaner kits at all local auto parts stores. Hope this helps and feel free to ask any questions if needed. Thanks for using 2CarPros.
