Hesitation after replacing the ICV and MAP sensor, also the check engine light is on?

I replaced the ICV (idle control valve) and MAP sensor, and now it hesitates when I drive, lunges forward, before it would stall on me, before I replaced these items. Check engine light appears also.

Hi,

If the check engine light is on, you really should have the computer scanned for diagnostic trouble codes. That will point us in the right direction.

If you don't have access to a scan tool, most parts stores will do it free of charge.
