Thanks upfront for your help.

Going up a hill (30 Degree) incline, when I get to 45 MPH the van stumbles as if it were a misfire but there are no codes. It doesn't do it on the regular flat road.

I appreciate your thoughts.

Thank you.

Hello,

This could be due to fuel starvation.
Do you know how much fuel you had in the tank when this happened?
It is possible on the steep incline the fuel pump was not able to get proper amount of fuel and cause it to lose power and cuts out.

Try to fill up the gas and see if this issue exists. If it does not, that it was simply a fuel delivery issue. As you know 30 degrees is a very significant amount of incline.

Let me know of any questions.
Thank you.

Hi Sean,

Thanks for replying. I had a 1/2 of a tank of fuel. Also, the fuel pump is about 8 months old plus a new fuel filter was added a couple weeks ago.

I'll wait for your reply.

Thanks.

Well, since it only happened on the incline it is possible that at that angle the pump was just not producing enough fuel due to not being able to pump enough fuel. If this does not happen any other time, then the issue was simply being on steep incline. Which does happen depending on the fuel pump set up from the factory. Which is not uncommon on these vehicles.

Try filling up the vehicle and drive up the same incline. If the issue does not happen, then it is due to fuel not getting to the fuel pump.
