Help with heat/air

Hello I have a 2007 Impala with the v6. My problem is my heat/air is screwing up it will be working good and then all of a sudden the heater will surge (meaning it will blow really hard and then it will blow down to nothing). It does this and I get heat and then lose heat I am at a loss

Your problem could be either the blower motor itself or the blower motor speed controller which is mounted in the housing near the blower motor. Try tapping on the motor or moving the plug connector to it. If it responds to that, the motor is likely the issue. If not, the controller is likely the issue.

have a local pro scan for codes it may be the blower motor control processor is bad.
