Help pontiac grand am map sensor

Ok i have a 97 pontiac grand am se 97. Car has been,spitting and idols up and down driving and,parked. Check engine is on so i go get a engine light check and i get coded p0108. I check out the map sensor and the vacuum line had a very bad hole in it. So i changed the hose and now its running perfect but,check,engine,is still on. Please help me i cant,afford to pay a mechanic thousands of dollars.

You probably just need to have the code cleared. Most parts stores will do that for free.
