Metal noise when attempting to start new engine

Put a new engine in as old one had cam belt damage. It turns over but has started making a scrapping noise sounds like metal. It ran for a short time but would not stay idling. Now we have this horrible metal sound when trying to start.

It sounds like the starter is not disengaging, but to be sure can you please shoot a quick video with your phone so we can hear the noise? That would be great. You can upload it here with your response.

The noise gets louder, but it has also ran for about five minutes with revs held on.

Now it will not start just turns over.

Oh ya, thanks for the videos they really help. I looks like you may have a blown head gasket between two cylinders but to be sure lets do a compression test. Here is a guide to help diesel engines have higher compression but it should still be uniform:
