Indenting this part and where can I find a replacement clip

Hey there,

Wondering what the technical name for this piece is called and where I might be able to find a replacement? The clip was old plastic that broke and needs to be repaired.

I am guessing that there should be a picture attached? If so, can you try and attach it again? Once we see it, we should be able to figure out this info. Thanks

Sorry for the delay. They did attach and that solves it. That is the hood ajar switch. Basically when you close the hood it pushes down on that white plunger and it closes the switch and tells the control module that the hood is closed. When it is extended it tells it that it is open.
