The check engine light is on. Just came on yesterday, We changed the gas cap but its still on. The code reading at Auto Zone said EVAP leak, gas cap or hose lose. We dont have a lot of money and are suppose to go out of town tomorrow. Any assistance would be great. What should we do?

That's not an EVAP leak. It's not even an EVAP code.

Yes, that is for a small EVAP leak. The way you find that is with a machine that fills the system with smoke and the smoke will escape through the leak. You'll have to call around to local shops to see which one has a smoke machine.
