There may be a diagnostic fault code to tell us where to start the diagnosis. Cycle the ignition switch from "off" to "run" three times within five seconds, without cranking the engine. Leave it in "run", then watch the fault code numbers appear in the odometer display. Tell me what those numbers are.
It's important to not disconnect the battery or let it run dead until you've read the fault codes. Doing so will erase the codes, then that valuable information will be lost.
You're likely correct that spark is missing, but about 95 percent of the time for crank / no-starts, you'll be missing fuel injector pulses too. The clue is you will not smell unburned gas at the tail pipe.
