Vehicle running at high RPM's

2001 HOLDEN COMMODORE
176,000 MILES • 3.8L • V6 • 2WD • MANUAL

My vx commodore is It's running at almost 3,000 rpm's and is only remedied when I disconnect the mass air flow sensor.
I've tried cleaning the throttle body I've replaced the TPS the ICS the coil's the leads the plugs it's still has the problem.

Have you checked for any trouble codes if the computer? I strongly suspect there is a code stored in the computer, if you have retrieved a trouble code it would greatly help us guide you to the problem. If you haven't here is a link to our tutorial on retrieving trouble codes, please keep in mind there can be a pending or stored trouble code even if the check engine light isn't on.
