What is shop hours and price on crankshaft replacement?

Hello, are you asking about the actual crankshaft? Not the crank sensor? There is a lot involved with a crankshaft replacement and with an engine with your mileage it would be best to put in a reman or junk yard used engine. Let me know the specifics to your issue.

Labor shows to be about thirteen to fifteen hours and the price of the crankshaft is about $550.00 from the dealer.

Yes, customer wants to replace only the crankshaft, does not want to replace engine. I was wondering price to charge for complete job.

Customer is always right! LOL, well that is an accurate quote from the motor manual, thirteen to fifteen hours. As far as parts that is in your court. Hope this helps.

Not Lou, but shop rate in my area runs from $85.00 to $120.00 an hour.

Our independents are about 485.00 an hour. Dealers are 4115.00 an hour. Glad I could assist.
