Heavy rain for 10 days, will I need a carwash after, or will the seats just dry up?

Where I live the Forecast is for heavy rain the next 10 days. When I had my 2010 Elantra and the inside which was between tan and brown, when it would get soaked like that the cloth seats would get spotted. I'd have to clean it if it never ever come out at all. Now that was on an old car. Is there a concern with my new Elantra with a black interior? Is it going to spot up the seats when they can soaked when I open the doors? Will I need a carwash after, or will the seats just dry up?

Hi,

Usually, it won't. However, you may want to purchase a quality fabric water protector. That would help keep the seats from absorbing the water.

Chances are that the dealer you purchased it from will have what is needed. As far as the spots, usually they won't occur until there is enough dirt/dust on the seat.

Let me know if that helps.
