heater no longer working

The heater stopped working and I need instructions on how to get to and replace my blend door actuator. looked on YouTube but there are no videos for this procedure on a 1998 xls. I removed the bottom panels on driver's side and pulled the carpet back, but there is still no way for me to get to the darn screw! please help.

Hi,

I did one of these about two months ago. It required me to basically lay upside-down under the dash. Once you remove the lower insulator, I literally had different length tools for the different screw locations.

If you are unable to do it, the manual indicates removing several things to access it. See pic 1 below.
