My truck is a 6.8 v10. I currently had one of the heater core hoses bust. I had to make a makeshift set up from the auto parts store so I can order the correct part from Ford, but I’m not sure what the part number is to buy it online. It’s the hose on the right but part for both of them would be preferable as I may need to replace the other one as well

Yep, that is the heater hose manifold set that the connector is made into. So much for the days of a simple hose and clamp. The part number I would have them check first is:

Motorcraft / Ford heater hose: YC3Z-18472-EA
Common description: heater to intake manifold hose
RockAuto lists this style for the 2004 F-450 Super Duty 6.8L V10, noting it is a molded heater hose and that the original flow restrictor may need to be reused.

Also have them check the later Ford/Motorcraft superseded heater hose number KT-160 / BC2Z-18472-CA, but that listing appears to reference E-Series 6.8L applications more clearly than the F-450

Do you know how to remove the connector on the heater core? Be gently because the hose connection on the core are weak and can leak if you are too rough with it. Let us know how it goes

My mechanic had to remove the quick connect from the heater core nipple because it was leaking and he made a makeshift hose connection there until I order the part but I was just needing the correct part numbers for the right end left. Thanks. I appreciate it.
