Heater hose and proper inlets hook ups for it?

I am trying to find advice on how the heater hoses are run to the heater core. I think I have them switched around. Maybe it doesn’t matter how they are but maybe it does. Someone please help me with this problem.

Yep, it doesn't matter how they go as long as they don't leak. Here are the instructions on how to replace the hoses and how they should go. Check out the images (below). Let us know what happens and please upload pictures or videos of the problem.
