Does the GM quick connect heater hose just push on for new connector?

Hi,

If you are referring to the connectors at the heater core itself (at the firewall), you do need a quick connect release tool. They are plastic and slide over the hose and then are pushed between the connector and the hose. At that point, when pressed they release the retainer in the quick connect and the hose can be removed.
