I am trying to replace the heater core on the car listed above 2010 model year.I have removed the dash and I am to the heater core cover.
I can't get the plastic cover apart to get to the core. Are there any diagrams available for those model or can you tell me how to get it apart? This is turning out to be a long and frustrating job so any help is appreciated.

Thank you

I am attaching the process for the cover. There are screws all around the outside and if you have never had it apart they are stuck together by melted plastic called stakes.

If this doesn't help let me know and we can try to find a video on the internet.

That is great. It is not surprising that your's was a little different. GM uses stock photos for a lot of their manuals as it was an effort to cut down on publication costs.

Glad it helped out and you got it all resolved. Thanks

I do have a question on how the dash goes back together. Should have taken pics but got in a hurry.I looked for diagrams they don't show everything I need. Also looked into buying a service manual but not sure which one would be what I need. Any advice is appreciated.

Thanks

Pictures would help. Here is a diagram of how the dash goes back in and the location of the screws. Let me know what specifically you are looking for and we will see what we can find.
