Hi,

It should be near the throttle body and attached to heater hoses.

If you look at the attachments below, I provided the directions specific to this vehicle for replacement. There are two pics to help you locate the part.

Let me know if this helps or if you have other questions.

Take care,

Joe

And I appreciate you responding to my post! My radiator fan isn’t blowing coming on unless I unplug the coolant temperature sensor, I’ve change the coolant temperature sensor of change the radiator fan temperature sensor oil temperature sensor. New battery, new alternator, new serpentine belt pulley, two expansion tanks, thermostat, water pump and a hose. I put a whole oil housing gasket on. I have put a new transfer actuator motor in and change the transmission fluid. I know there’s a few more things that I mentioned but this is getting really ridiculous because they are still not coming on and I also wondering what this little black boxes. So I’m going to send another picture.

Also my climate control isn’t working. I think I have found the culprit but I don’t know how to fix it or where to buy the gold plated bar or if I could solder copper on there I’m not sure. I’m lost I haven’t been able to drive my BMW in like six months. I’m a female and I had no clue about anything about cars before there’s been a learning experience but I’m ready to drive.

Hi,

The black box is a junction for the hood release cable. If you look at the pic below, it shows what it is.

As far as the climate control, I have to ask that you start a new thread specific to that topic. We are trying to keep the threads specific to one topic. I hope you understand. Just copy and paste the question to a new thread.

Here is the link:

Let me know.
