Heater climate control unit diagram needed

I am trying to replace this unit in a car that had one damaged during a break in and stereo stolen. I can’t seem to figure out how to connect the heater control and the air control cables to the unit. I see where the insulation of the cable locks in but can’t figure out where the cable connects to on both dials. Any diagram or help would be appreciated.

I am attaching the process below on how to replace this. It is not terribly detailed so let us know if you need more info and we can try and dig something up.

However, I would suggest getting some pictures of what you are dealing with and I am sure we can figure something out.

Thank you, but I figured out what was wrong. The place I bought the used part from broke off the tab with the hole for the cable to go in on both dials. That is why I could not figure out where the cable hooked on. There simply was not tab on the sliding mechanism for the cable to attach.
