Heater blows hot & temp gauge in red

The heater blows hot air all the time regardless of setting, after about 5 miles the temp gauge goes into red and only cools down when vehicle is stationary and fan cuts in, there are no visible leeks or signs of oil/water mixing coolant level is ok,

You need to first pressure test the cooling system for leaks. It sounds like it has some air pockets due to a leak.
