Heater blows cold air

2004 CHEVROLET TAHOE

First the truck overheated then i topped it off with antifreeze then it did not overheat, but the gauge would drop toward cold temperature and the heater would blow but only cold air.

it is probably still low that is number one cause of no heat. have coolant system pressure checked for head gaskets.
