I was trying to see how to possibly reset the heater blend door as the driver side barely produces heat while the passenger side blows hot well. So, I just bought this vehicle, it wasn’t very well cared for I’ll say. I’m still blowing out dog hair months later. So, with that I said. I was blowing out the vents and using a soft brush that I snaked between vent slots brushing out dust and hair since that day is when the heat stopped blowing on the driver's side. Also, where is the blower motor and resistor I’m baffled it’s not on the passenger side like my old Escape.

You can try to remove the battery cable overnight to see if that helps to reset the system, also you can remove the HVAC fuse (#71 in the BCM fuse panel under the dash) overnight and leave the battery connected. as well but it sounds like the driver's side temperature blend door actuator is not working here is the location so you can swap it out in case the reset does not work. Check out the images (below). Let us know what happens and please upload pictures or videos of the problem so we can see what's going on.
