heater I heard a high-pitched cricket sound?

Yesterday I heard a high-pitched cricket sound, and I turned the car off, when I restarted the car and turned on the heat the car stalled. I then drove it home without the heat on and it was good, but I turned the heat back on and the car acted like it was going to stall. There are no warning lights on, and I ran a blue driver on it and there are no codes. Does anyone have any ideas about what it could be?

Yep, it sounds like the A/C compressor is going out, I know what you are thinking why is the A/C compressor running when the heater is on, they do this to remove moisture from the air. to be sure you can disconnect the compressor wire to see if the noise goes way.
