Heat gauge stopped working?

I checked behind speedometer wires are fine ,I just can't find the heat gauge sensor,any idea who I can find it model GA16DE bubble shape

Usually they are near the thermostat housing. The temperature gauge sender is usually not the same sensor as the coolant temperature sensor for the computer. The sensor will have 1 wire going to it. Check out the images (below). Let me know what you find.

Thanks I found the temperature sensor there was a cable loose,can this affect the rev meter? it use to jump idle a lot now that I joined the wire back properly it some how seems more stable before that I did clean the distributer cap and changed spark plugs back and it was still jumping

Nice work, no the coolant temperature sensor will not affect the engine RPM, please start a new question for the additional issue and add a video as well. We only handle one problem per thread, please post your new question here, you must be logged in.
