Hi this is Riaz from South Africa I have a 2007 GWM 2.2 lux single cab. The heat gauge raises to H when I am driving. When I put the vehicle in to neutral and the vehicle is costing the heat gauge drops as soon as t put it back into gear the gauge raises. However, the vehicle does not boil I have driven for hundreds of KM like that.
I have changed the heat gauge switch still no luck. What could be the issue?

If this has an electric cooling fan make sure it is coming on when the engine gets hot, if not, check the cooling fans fuses and relays.
If the fan is coming on or if this has a mechanical fan, try a new thermostat.
