My son's car cannot switch between heat and A/C. The garage said it is missing a blend door actuator cable. Nissan does not make the part anymore. Are there any suggestions on a replacement to fix the problem? I don't want to take out the dash every time the season changes. I live in New England, LOL.

Hi,

They are correct. I did find one with the controller on eBay and several new ones. I would order it yourself and I can help you install it. See below.

If the price is good and you confirm it fits, you may want to consider going this route. (OEM Part Number 27542-8J000)

You can get the cable yourself. Let me know your thoughts. Also, take a look at the technical service bulletin I found. I attached it below.

Let me know if this helps or if I can help in any way.

Take care,

Joe
