The heat on the driver's side works fine (all vents). No heat from vents (defrost/face/feet) on passenger side. Could this be a blend door actuator issue? Is this accessible for a DIY fix?

Hello,

If the issue is that you are getting air, but it is only blowing cold, then yes, it is likely a faulty blend door actuator on the passenger side.
In order to access the blend door actuator for the passenger side you will have to remove the glove compartment and the trim cover on the footwall.

After replacement the actuator needs to be adjusted/re-learn the process.
I have attached the replacement procedure as well as the adjusting procedure below for your reference.

Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thank you.

Okay, some of my amateurish research indicated the possibility of removing the entire dash...which worried me. I appreciate the assist.

You will have to remove a good amount of the dash to have access. It is little time consuming. But does not require any special tools.
