Headlights work intermittently

The headlights periodically don’t work. All other lights, both interior and exterior, including high-beams, seem to work just fine.

It also seems to me to be related to whether the car has been driven lately; when the car is first turned on after a weekend at home, the headlights will not turn on, but after driving it to work (and working a full 8-hour shift) they work on the ride home, and then work for the rest of the week, and continue to work if we go somewhere over the weekend. They stop working again if we go more than a day or so without driving. (This timing may be a coincidence, but it seems to be a repeating pattern)

Thank you for any help you can offer!

Good morning,

This could be as easy as a bad connection or it could be a issue with the body control module as it controls the operation of the lights.

Make sure the connectors at the headlights are tight and clean. Look at the pins and check them for any damage.
