I have recently replaced the headlight bulb and the ballast a few months ago, then a few weeks ago the headlight went out again along with the DRL on the left side. so I had a friend say that I needed to replace the relay that's located next to the battery and he says that he checked the power running to the headlight and he said that it wasn't getting full power. I'm leaning toward the the wiring running from the front fender well to where the headlight and the DRL connect. I do not know. please help!

When the light was working, was it dim? If you don't have 12 volts getting to the bulb then you have resistance somewhere in the circuit.

So when he checked the voltage, what was the actual reading getting to the bulb?

Below is the wiring diagram that will help with this.

It is unlikely to be the ground as the bulbs share a ground so you could be right that it is the wiring. So that means we can try and just run a new wire and see if that resolves the issue. Then you can make that new wire permanent.

Let me know if you have other questions and what you find with this. Thanks
