The headlight is dim on the passenger side, I need to know where the multifunction switch is location and what it looks like. I know it is not getting a good ground.

The multifunction switch is the turn signal switch in the steering column.

When I took the headlight assembly from the driver's side and plugged the pigtail in to the passenger side the headlight wouldn't work.

If you could help me out I would appreciate it. This dim headlight is driving me crazy. I checked the ground wire and changed the headlight switch in the dash. I checked all the fuses and the auto headlights, the only thing that work's in the auto position is the parking lights. The fog lights will not even come on in the auto position.

There is only two issues it can be. The bulb is losing either ground or power and you have to find out which one before going any further.
